Reese has been going through a "phase" of being very sassy, at least we're hoping it's just a phase. We had one afternoon when he was especially ugly to everyone that he talked to.
I sat him down and said, "Reese, Jesus wants us to treat everyone nice and use nice, kind words. It makes our heart happy when we are nice. Doesn't it make your heart happy when you're nice?"
Reese: "Yes, but it really makes my tummy hurt."
Hmmmm..what do you say to that one?
