We approached the month of February thinking that our chances for snow had passed us. (I secretly thought it was because I had actually gotten Reese a pair of snow boots this year to avoid wearing gym shoes covered with plastic sacks.) But boy were we wrong. We woke up on February 1st to a winter wonderland. The temperatures were in the single digits, so Reese was crazed that it was "too cold" to actually play in it that first day. Because it was so bad (at least by Oklahoma standards), that Shane got to stay home with us for several days. He and Reese spent a lot of time playing in the snow.
The storm actually came in 2 rounds...school was out Tuesday-Friday. Then we got a smaller storm the next Tuesday night, so we were out again Wednesday-Thursday. Fun while it lasts! But thankfully we are supposed to be in the 70's by next week. :) Can't wait for Spring!
