We spent the evening at Barry and Judy's house, friend's of my mom's. This was Reese's first 4th to stay up for the fireworks. He has slept through them the last 3 years. He was very excited to go to the party.
Reese's shirt says "Mom's Little Sparkler."
Reese looks like he's up to something..."Who me?...I didn't do anything!?" 
Reese really likes Judy's dog, a black lab named Cleo. She is great with kids. They had a huge tug-o-war fight. They are pretty equally matched.

We are used to sweating on the 4th, but it actually was very cool. We didn't even bring jackets with us. Reese curled up in a blanket.

It was a pretty late night...the fireworks didn't even start til about 10:15. Reese got pretty tired towards the end and snuggled up with me in the chair.

Hey Jenny! Sorry we missed you guys. . . would love to catch up with you. Don't know if I've seen you since high school??? (Can't be right. . . but it probably is!) It looks like you all had a nice 4th! Boy - Reese will be 4! That is nuts. It goes so fast!
Hope you're having a great summer! Will you be teaching at Reese's school again this fall?
